Once the agent is installed, Cloudaware enables patching for all Windows and Linux machines where Breeze is installed and running. No public IP is required. The egress traffic can be routed via a proxy or an internet gateway.

For Windows Server 2012, an active Extended Security Updates (ESU) subscription is required, as the operating system reached end of life (EOL) on October 10, 2023. ESU coverage remains available through October 13, 2026.
