Intrusion Detection - Requirements
This page outlines the requirements for Cloudaware Intrusion Detection.
Review the OS and network requirements for Breeze Agent installation. Once the agent is installed, Cloudaware enables IDS via the Wazuh application for all instances running Breeze.
IDS Server Requirements
Linux OS1
4-8 GB RAM
125-250 GB Disk
Internet accessible from Cloudaware IPs2,3 on port TCP 8443
Valid SSL Certificate4
Has to be reachable by IDS agents on: TCP 80, 443
1 – All major Linux distributions are supported, including Red Hat, CentOS, Amazon Linux, and Ubuntu.
2 – Cloudaware IP addresses are provided during deployment.
3 – VPC peering between the customer environment and Cloudaware is supported.
4 – The SSL certificate must be issued by a trusted certificate authority; self-signed certificates are not supported.
