Anthropic Billing (Beta)

Use the Anthropic Billing integration to collect Anthropic cost and message usage data in Cloudaware.

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Access to a Cloudaware account.
  • A user with access to the Admin Console and permissions to manage integrations.
  • An Anthropic API key.

Add Anthropic Billing to Cloudaware​

  1. In Cloudaware, go to Admin.
  2. Find Anthropic Billing, then click + ADD.
  3. Enter the following values:
    • API Key: The Anthropic API key.
    • Report Type: The Anthropic report type to collect. Available options depend on the API key prefix and are suggested automatically.
  4. Click SAVE.
  5. Confirm that the integration status indicator is green.

Report Types by API Key Prefix​

The Report Type options shown in the integration form depend on the prefix of the Anthropic API key.

Troubleshooting​

Expected Report Type Is Not Available​

  • Check the API key prefix.
  • Use an sk-ant-admin key for Cost report and Message usage.
  • Use an sk-ant-api key for Analytics cost report and Analytics message usage.
  • Re-enter the API key if the wrong key was saved.

Integration Shows Red Status​

  • Verify that the Anthropic API key is active.
  • Confirm that the key has access to the selected report type.
  • Edit the integration and save it again after correcting the key or report type.

Reconfigure or Remove the Integration​

To rotate the Anthropic API key or change the collected report type, edit the existing integration instead of deleting and re-creating it.

Update the Integration Details​

  1. Go to Admin.
  2. Select Anthropic Billing (Beta).
  3. Select the specific integration.
  4. Open the three-dot menu, then click Edit.
  5. Update the API Key.
  6. Click SAVE.
  7. Confirm that the integration status indicator is green.

Remove the Integration from Cloudaware​

  1. Go to Admin.
  2. Select Anthropic Billing (Beta).
  3. Select the specific integration.
  4. Open the three-dot menu, then click Delete.
  5. Confirm the deletion if prompted.
