SolarWinds

SolarWinds is an observability and IT management platform. This guide explains how to add SolarWinds integration to Cloudaware.

Prerequisites

  1. Ensure that the SWIS REST API is accessible on a SolarWinds server.

  2. Configure the TunHub gateway before adding SolarWinds integration to Cloudaware.

Add a SolarWinds server

 

  1. Log in to Cloudaware → Admin.

  2. Find SolarWinds in integrations. Click +ADD.

  3. Fill out the form:

    WHERE
    URL – the TunHub route* URL, in the format https://tunhub.cloudaware.com:12345
    Username – the SolarWinds username
    Password – the SolarWinds password

*Set up the route port as 17774 in TunHub.

Click SAVE.

  1. A green light in the ‘Status’ column indicates successful configuration. If the light is red, contact support@cloudaware.com

  2. To view SolarWinds-related data, go to Cloudaware CMDB Navigator. Select SOLARWINDS in the left-hand menu.

SolarWinds Node
SolarWinds NPM Interface
SolarWinds Platform Server
