Dashboards

Monitoring dashboards provide shared visualizations of metrics and events, enabling teams to understand system health, investigate incidents, and track trends.

Unified Monitoring dashboards are typically organized by application, environment, or platform area (for example, databases or networks).

Dashboard Design Goals

Well‑designed dashboards:

  • Highlight whether a service is healthy at a glance.
  • Surface key golden signals such as latency, traffic, errors, and saturation.
  • Show enough detail for first‑line triage without overwhelming the viewer.
  • Use consistent layouts and naming across services.

See Build Golden Signals and KPIs for practical guidance.

Access to Dashboards

Zabbix (Legacy)

Zabbix is available as an app in the Cloudaware Control Hub (Launcher).

The default Zabbix dashboard provides a centralized view of monitoring health, system status, and active alerts across host groups. The view helps teams quickly identify issues, assess their severity, and prioritize response based on affected host groups and current alert conditions.

New Relic

New Relic is available as an app in the Cloudaware Control Hub (Launcher).

New Relic unifies application performance (APM), infrastructure metrics, logs, traces, and business‑level data into a single “pane‑of‑glass” view so you can correlate errors, infrastructure issues, and user‑impact metrics without jumping between separate tools.

The New Relic dashboards can serve as your central observability hub, where you can see health and performance across your entire stack in one place.

Cloudaware Advanced Analytics

Dashboards can be built using data from cloud-native monitoring services, the Breeze agent, and other monitoring tools. For example, you can track the adoption of monitoring agents across your environments.

By combining monitoring metrics with billing data, you can gain insights into rightsizing and cost-avoidance opportunities.
