Log Management Reference
This guide provides reference information for implementers and operators working with Conflux.
Limits and Sizing
Exact limits and quotas depend on your Cloudaware agreement and environment. When planning a deployment:
- Estimate daily log volume by source type in GB/day, events/day, or both.
- Consider peak and average traffic patterns.
- Align retention windows with investigation, compliance, and cost requirements.
Coordinate with Cloudaware Support at support@cloudaware.com to confirm supported scale and recommended sizing for your deployment.
Field and Schema Mapping
Log events often include:
- Native provider fields (for example, CloudTrail or audit log fields).
- Normalized fields such as
account,region,resource,app,environment. - CMDB identifiers and relationships that tie events back to configuration items (CIs).
