Dashboards & Reporting
This guide describes how dashboards, saved searches, and reports help turn raw logs into actionable views for troubleshooting, security investigations, compliance evidence, and capacity planning.
Conflux uses a Kibana-based interface for raw data exploration, saved searches, and dashboards.
Core Dashboards
Through the Cloudaware Control Hub (Launcher), you can access Conflux dashboards that provide views such as:
- Ingestion health — log volume by source, gaps in streams, error rates, and delayed ingestion.
- Security & access — authentication failures, admin actions, configuration changes, and high‑risk events.
- Change & operations — deployment logs, configuration changes, and correlated incidents.
These dashboards can combine log‑derived metrics with Cloudaware CMDB context, such as applications, owners, and environments.
Investigation Workflows
From an alert or finding, you can:
- Pivot into relevant logs, such as logs filtered by instance ID, user, IP address, or request ID.
- Use time‑bounded searches around the incident window.
- Apply filters and field facets to narrow down to specific services or components.
- Save searches or build dashboards if the pattern is useful for future cases.
Logs complement metrics and traces from other tools by providing detailed event context.
Saved Searches and Reports
Use saved searches to:
- Capture common filters (for example, specific services, error codes, or accounts).
- Standardize investigation starting points for on‑call engineers and security analysts.
- Feed scheduled reports or exports consumed by other teams.
Where supported, log-derived datasets can be exposed to BI or reporting tools as part of broader analytics.
Export and Integration Options
For sharing log insights with other systems:
- Use built‑in exports or APIs to retrieve log data or aggregations.
- Forward specific events or alert outputs to SIEM/SOAR tools.
- Integrate with existing reporting and compliance workflows.
