Limits & Quotas

Compliance Engine v1 runs on top of Salesforce and cloud provider APIs, so some practical limits and quotas apply. Use this guide to review common considerations on how to design policies and schedules so that perform well at scale.

Evaluation and Batching​

  • Policies evaluate input objects in batches to stay within platform limits.
  • Very large batches or highly complex policies can run into CPU or time limits.
  • Cloudaware provides recommended batch sizes and patterns; follow these when designing policies.

Scheduling and Concurrency​

  • Extremely high‑frequency schedules across many policies can lead to overlapping jobs and increased load.
  • Cloudaware throttles concurrent evaluations to protect both the platform and cloud APIs.
  • Coordinate large rollouts or aggressive schedules with Cloudaware Support.

Data Volume​

  • Storing findings, revisions, and exceptions over long periods increases data volume.
  • Use lifecycle settings and archival strategies where appropriate, respecting your data governance requirements.
