Cloudaware CMDB

CMDB is the core Cloudaware module that provides a system of record for cloud, hybrid, and on‑prem infrastructure.

Cloudaware CMDB collects and reconciles data from sources such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, VMware, and supported third‑party integrations. The resulting configuration items (CIs), relationships, ownership metadata, and history provide shared context for cost management, security, compliance, monitoring, reporting, and automation workflows.

How Cloudaware CMDB Works

Cloudaware CMDB ingests inventory and configuration data from connected sources and maps it into a shared data model. The CMDB:

  1. Discovers resources. Cloud providers, agents, infrastructure platforms, and third-party integrations supply inventory and configuration data.
  2. Normalizes objects. Provider-specific resources such as instances, databases, networks, storage, load balancers, and applications are represented as CMDB objects.
