Conflux

Use the Conflux integration to select AWS accounts eligible for log ingestion as part of Cloudaware Log Management. Conflux allows organizations to unify and consolidate operational data from various systems.

Capabilities​

The integration supports:

  • Visibility into AWS accounts that can be enabled for Conflux log ingestion
  • Controlled log-ingestion scope by assigning the AWS IAM identities Cloudaware can use
  • Centralized access to eligible AWS logs in Cloudaware Log Management for investigation and operations workflows

Prerequisites​

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Access to a Cloudaware account.
  • A user with access to the Admin Console and permissions to manage cloud accounts, organizations, and integrations (Cloudaware Administrator).
  • AWS account(s) already added to Cloudaware. See AWS Setup Guide.
  • Required permissions for logs assigned to Cloudaware. See Conflux IAM Policy.

Assign IAM Identities for Conflux​

  1. In Cloudaware, go to Admin.
  2. Find Conflux, then click SHOW ACCOUNTS.
  3. Review the list of discovered AWS accounts and click ASSIGN IDENTITY for the relevant account.
  4. Select the checkbox for the AWS IAM role that will define the scope for Cloudaware Log Management. Click + ADD NEW IDENTITY.
  5. Contact your Cloudaware technical account manager or email support@cloudaware.com to request enablement and access to Conflux logs for the selected accounts.

Next Steps​

Cloudaware uses the Conflux integration for Log Management.

Once Log Management is enabled for the selected AWS accounts, log in to the Cloudaware Control hub (Launcher) to access the Conflux app where you can view and analyze logs.
