Prerequisites
- AWS cloud integration configured in Cloudaware.
- Access to the AWS payer account or linked account used for billing data.
- Access to the S3 bucket, Cost Explorer API, or billing report location used by the selected export type.
Supported AWS Billing Exports
The following export types are supported in Cloudaware:
- AWS Data Exports (CUR 2.0)
- AWS Cost & Usage Reports (CUR v1)
- AWS Detailed Billing Reports (DBR) (Legacy)
Cloudaware also integrates with AWS Cost Explorer.

Security Notes
- Use least-privilege IAM permissions for billing reports, Cost Explorer, and S3 access.
- Restrict S3 buckets and report prefixes used for billing data to dedicated, well-controlled resources.
