Create Reports

The article instructs on how to create reports in Cloudaware.

Classic view

  1. Log in to your Cloudaware account.

  2. Select Reports under your username in the upper right corner.

  3. Click New Report.

  4. Type the object name to pick a report type from the list, for example, AWS Accounts. Select another object to cross-reference the data to your report, e.g. with AWS S3 buckets. Click Create.

  5. Use the list of fields on the left or the Quick Find bar to manually type field names to select the fields that will be displayed as columns. For example, select fields ‘Block Public Policy' and 'Block Public ACLs’ to check public access settings on buckets in your organization.

  6. In the menu above the report canvas:
Filters: click Add to define criteria for Field Filter (e.g. AWS Account: Account Name equals N) and/or select Filter Logic if necessary
Show: select all objects value (e.g. All aws accounts) to show all relevant organization data
Date Field: select a timestamp field and specify the time range if necessary

  7. Click Run Report.

Save the report in Unfiled Public Reports or create a new folder. Share permissions to the folder if newly created.
