Vulnerability Management
Breeze Agent enables Cloudaware Vulnerability Management. Use Breeze to maintain Nessus agent health, support scan coverage, and keep software inventories accurate across target hosts.
What Breeze Contributes
- Installs Nessus agents, enabling Cloudaware Vulnerability Scanning (VSaaS).
- Discovers OS versions, installed Linux packages, and Windows programs for use in vulnerability correlation.
Scan Coverage and Gap Analysis
With Breeze data in CMDB, Cloudaware can:
- Identify assets with no vulnerability scanning agent installed or with unhealthy or outdated agent status.
- Highlight mismatches between vulnerability scanning coverage and actual infrastructure, such as servers missing from scanning scopes.
- Correlate vulnerability findings to CMDB objects and applications for faster triage and remediation.
Related Integrations
For broader approach as part of Vulnerability Management, use:
- Vulnerability scanners and security integrations (for example, Qualys, Tenable Vulnerability Management, etc.) configured in Cloudaware Admin Console to ingest scan results and coverage data into CMDB.
Combined with scan findings and CMDB context, Cloudaware shows which assets are:
- Covered and healthy
- Missing agents or scans
- Out of policy based on risk and patch SLAs
